Styling

As a Style Editor for Coulture Magazine, I lead my team and work cross functionally to make our creative visions come to life; in Issue 15, Provocateur, we aimed to convey “delicate pieces of contemporary condition” (Clay Morris, Editor in Chief) to force our viewers to think within their own internal dialogue about the issues presented through the lens of fashion.

Throughout the year, I worked with my team and our partners to style photoshoots including; the BeReal, Paparazzi, Royal Heist, Serena, and Reproductive Rights. We worked to bring the creative vision to life for these shoots by creating look-books, mood boars, and outfits that voiced the purpose of the shoot. I worked with my team to strengthen our partnerships with local businesses who allowed us to source clothing and expand our creative control while working on no budget. Acting as a style editor has pushed me to become resourceful, work well under pressure, and execute creative visions with others. While fashion acts as one of my biggest passions, this role has expanded my ability to make strategic efforts in communicating a design concept and vision.
